The Campsite

The campsite is set in a fabulous situation on the seafront, at two paces from the picturesque village of Barfleur, listed between the “Most Beautiful Villages of France” (Les Plus Beaux Villages de France). The sailing and diving school is right by the campsite’s entry.

Hikers and other visitors will love the numerous walking paths of the region as well as the touristic sites such as the Gatteville Lighthouse at 500 m from the campsite, the “Cité de la Mer” (museum in the old ocean liner terminal !) in Cherbourg at 30km, or the very spectacular cape “La Hague” at 40km. You should taste the crabs, scallops, oysters and those very famous mussels from Barfleur !
